Chris moaned as his body stirred to a throbbing soreness that hurt beyond hell. He rose in his chambers almost covered in bandages, he felt like a damn mummy and stupid to boot. Imagine this, heavens defender and the destroyer of gods wrapped like a invalid in gauze and band aids. His ego had a traumatic fit and died on the spot.
He looked around Finding Virgil half asleep near his grand ultra king sized bed, the youths cowboy boots were crossed and leaning on a trunk with his stetson hat covering his face as he reclined. Dominic was on the far side of the chamber, passed out in a chair. Ash alone walked in looking crisp and clean with a small black goatee growing to even out his evil looks.
Ash smiled with a grin. " You. Well ya look like shit boss man."
Chris laughed, gods even that hurt. " You try using Aegis for a titan brawl and see if you come away looking half a pretty, Gimme a second."
Chris hopped off the bed and flared his power slightly blowing the wrappings off and replacing them with his casual gear and royal blue sleeveless robe adorned with golden script. His neck twisted as he flexed muscles that were still sore but working at least. he reached down near the bed grabbing a walking stick of about 5ft in length with a golden head etched with lightning bolts and a tigers eye.
Ash pointed, " New gear?"
Chris laughed and flinched the stick open drawing his full double bladed straight sword from it. Ash clapped, " Cute. Cant wear a sword in public so we hide it? love it, gives off a real bad ass vibe. Listen we got missions today right?"
Chris nodded his Cane blade shifting to the usual style and sliding back into sheath. Chris shifted into his combat gear consisting of BDU pants that looked like leather but were kevlar padded and flexible, Boots, and a tactical shirt under a opened leather jacket that was again kevlar padded with intricate Azure celtic designs along the back and right arm. His sleeveless jacket fell into place as he walked.
Dominic and Virgil startled awake and rushed for their rooms to shower and get ready.
" So whats the agenda?"
Chris pulled out a laptop tablet and scrolled through the missions. " we are meeting Jasons kids to train em. Nikolai and his sister likely. We got mostly Vamps to kill. Phantoms and Red council are about we have contacts in the city to handle em but it's good for the soul to slay the soulless."
" Don't be so cold Pops, Training is nothing we need"
Chris shot his son a hard stare, His hand slashed across his face revealing the Aegis mask in full splendor. " Do it."
Dominic huffed barely getting a faint outline much less a solid mask. Virgil threw his hands up in surrender " Hey y'all got me. I'm up to training as much as ya want Chris"
Jessica sprinted up wearing a lacy little dress that was almost opaque enough to not show her elegant purple lace under garments. Chris barely managed to toss his jacket over her. He had no clue why his sister insisted on having zero modesty. He shot her a stare as she pouted " Brother.." she said almost whining
Chris gave her a cold stare. " Jessica, what did i tell you about sheer dresses. Greek style are ancient, get in with modern styles. I'll not have you waltzing around in sheer dresses as an excuse to display your fancy undies."
She pouted like a toddler bounding on her heels " Ugh your such a prude. They don't mind right?"
Virgil wisely took Christians side, Dominic shot his hands up in surrender and backed away. Ash cocked a grin and bowed out after a cold arch stare from Chris.
" Oh poo. Chris Jason's kids are here and waiting in the throne room. Be safe big bro ok?'" She planted a kiss on his forehead and trotted off after throwing his jacket over his head.
Chris led the team into the elegant throne room the lavish gold and marble doors swung open at his approach as he nodded to the guards who opened every surrounding chamber door. Chris at on his chair and exhaled, flexing his neck to try and relieve the soreness.
" Let em In guys." Chris said to the guards.
One of then nodded and knelt " Sire they arrive imminently, on their way up now shall we escort them?"
Chris waved it off. " Please they are my best friends kids. They know the layout of my palace. We'll chill while we wait."
Chris reclined as the others pulled up smaller chairs and just gathered round to chat and relax.

Nikolai rubbed together the palms of his hand in a futile attempt to warm himself up. Taking a deep breath and letting a warm exhale touch his fingers, he started to mutter annoyed. “Jeeze, has this guy ever heard of a heater? Where the hell is the thermostat in this place anyway, I'm freezing my ass off here. How can he live in a castle like this? And you, why aren't you complaining?” It seemed that Nikolai has ceased his own internecine rambling for a moment at a half-hearted attempt to arouse a response from his sister, Sarah.
Sarah emitted a soft sigh, looking at her brother with a equally frustrated expression. “Stop complaining. And for our information it not cold in here, you're just freezing because you decided it was a good idea to play around with your Limbo Ice powers. Do you have any idea how dangerous that stuff you're using is? You nearly froze yourself, and there's not much that can thaw that kind of power. You should be more careful.” Nikolai shrugged, making a scoffing noise. “Come on, you know I'm not stupid enough to get myself encased in ice. I just wanted to, you know, show off some of my new powers to the guys. Now if you don't mind I'm going to warm up.”
Sarah immediately punched him in the arm. All Nikolai was able to do was make low yelp and before he could ask what her problem is she made herself very clear. “Okay, that can only mean one of two things coming from you. First of all, there is no way you're going to try to light a match using the annihilation flame. That stuff is hotter then the sun, last time you blew up a hall and fixing stuff here isn't as as back home. There’s nobody to alter reality. Secondly, no you are not turning into a Lion...Sabertooth tiger...thing, in here. I'm not going to let you embarrass yourself again by shedding all over the carpet. This stuff probably cost a fortune.”
“All right, all right. I guess I'll just freeze to death. Anyway, you know this is the first time I'll be going on one of these missions with you guys. I know Dimitry used to go with you and Dominic on a few very month or so, always sounded like fun.” Nikolai Smirked, but was dumbfounded when he saw her sister's head sink. Perplexed, he was about to ask what was wrong when he realized who he mentioned. “Oh.” Nikolai bit his upper lit in frustration, cursing himself. Their brother had died only a week ago and ti was still a pretty touchy subject with everyone. Nikolai was sure the only reason his dad had let them come was because he thought ti was safer here with Christian. He knew it had been especially painful for Sarah since she had been there with him. The boy shook her should for a moment, looking at her solemnly. “All right, You can't keep beating yourself up over this. Look, let's just meet with everyone, do a bit of training, crack a few skulls, well have great time just like always. It'll cheer you up.”
Sarah looked again and nodded her head as they finally made their way up the stairs. The tall Serbian teenager spread out his arms and made the introduction. “All right everybody,we have arrived...now, who's up to putting the dead back in the dirt?” Nikolai looked up at Chris on the throne, noting his sense of fashion. “Dude, really, a cape? Where do you even get one of those these days?” the aforementioned pair where wearing more modern gear. Sarah Was wear a black T-shirt with some sort of arcane symbol, a pair of blue jean's, and a some checkered flats, the only thing denoting that she was about to go into battle was a longsword at her waist. Nikolai however seemed more ready for the combat zone at first glance. A large black hooded jacket over a kevlar vest and cargo pants with a revolver tucked into it. “Anyway, sorry my old man couldn't make it this time, he's been pretty busy lately with all the stuff going on.”

Chris shot Nikolai a sideways glance " Oh? does my style not fit?" he snapped his fingers as his clothes shifted between half a dozen variations before settling on russan camo blue and black BDU pants with slick black plates of sheer kevlar forming shin plates covering his knee to his shoe tip. His upper body switched to a form fitting cotton black shirt under a set of light weight russian camo body armor, concisting of shoulder pads, arm guards of silver and the aptly named "predator body armor that molded to his form perfectly. The joints on every fiber were lined with kevlar weave. His sleeveless robe or Haori draped over the armor elegantly.
"Better?" he said with a sly grin. His belt snapped on by it;s own accord holding his customized D-eagle handgun on the right side and a hard case of several dozen throwing knives on the left.
Dominic rose slowly and moved to Sarah nodding gently then shaking Nikolai's hand with a grin. " Oh joy the upstart is here." he said with a grin. He turned to his father with a cocked brow.
" Ok kiddies. Agenda for today Is simple. I'm taking this band of misfits to the outlying regions of Dalkek City. We can hit the gates from here.
We have word of a den of phantom vamps hiding there so we just need to clean it out nice and easy. Your doing the fighting here, I'm in no mood to amuse these stupid undead by kicking their asses at sonic speeds."
Ash whirled his finger around in a less then merry manner " Joy- Gasm. So we get crap detail first shot out. Man I am field commander Chris."
Chris looked over his shoulder " Yes you are. When I or Dominic are not around. Standard ROE team, no powers in sight of the humans, and do not reveal yourselves, we don't have Xander around to mind wipe so be careful. The vamps are easily taunted so lure em into a dark alley."
"Yeah but can't you just cloak the whole unit i mean with your power set?"
" Ash, no." Chris turned tapping his walking cane on the ground, the blade ejecting out the top and with a elegant swish he carved a gate open in the air.
" Follow."
The Team emerged in a dark but elegant city. Modern buildings, traffic, pedestrians typical city. Chris led the way, cloaking them for the time and making them appear as normal folk not heavily armed gods. Chris peered around a corner finding a rather secretive looking man hovering round it. He approached with regal bearing as the man knelt.
" My lordship. Welcome."
"Kraten" Chris said with a low grumble in his voice. Dominic already had his hand on his swords. the prince noted Nikolai's face and explained.
" Kraten is a Fey Atlantian hybrid, the only one of his kind. He's our resident covert op and one untrustworthy guy. last time we used his intel the bastard sent a legion of Satyr after us. for skimping him short on the tip."
" Spill it." Chris barked.
" Of course sire. The nest is twelve blocks south, they own a club called Varakek 45, it's open this time of night, full of vampires. The Phantoms are already inside."
Chris tossed him a coin purse. His eyes flared " Betray me again Kraten, and your head rolls in a very literal sense."
The man backed away like a roach into the shadows hissing as he did. Chris pointed his walking stick across the way to a loud thumping building. the sign said Club Varatek in neon purple and red, a line of humans stood at the door.
" Chris the dude said few blocks away."
" He was hired to lure us into a trap likely, That's the club I can feel their energy. Hang on."
Chris tilted his sunglasses, his canines elongated into tiger like fangs while his eyes shifted to a mesmerizing deep crimson hue. His eyes pierced the illusions and he found the line of humans more then inhuman, none of them had so much as blood flow or a beating heart. Vampires.
Dominic giggles seeing his father use his Tiger gaze for the first time, he leaned to Nikolai " Pops dojutsu, it allows him to tap his animal and Tiaphim spirits vision, Tiger allows some sick super binocular vision and the neat trick of peering into bodies to see blood flow and energy circulation. Ohh so exciting.
Plan pops?"
Chris turned to Nikolai. " Ok, Nikolai assess and plan a approach strategy. Impress me and gimme something to brag to Jason about. Huh? Anybody feel that?"
Chris shot his gaze away towards the north of the city. Dominic shrugged " Feel what Pops?"
Chris shifted his weight, " I'm gonna check it out. Dominic your in command. Ash watch out for them." He took of through a gate leaving Ash and Dominic with a wide grin, " Sweet. Plan Nikolai?"

Nikolai looked a bit dumbfounded at the moment, his eyes switching from scanning the Club Veratek to glancing at the rest of the team. “Wait, you want me to think the plan. um..well, okay, I guess. Let me think hear for a minute.” Sarah gave the other two a very concerned look before shooting a sideways glance at Nikolai. “Guys, I'm not sure if letting him do this is the best idea...” She trailed off or a moment, giving Nikolai time to interrupt. Hey hey, I can do this, really, just give me a chance, all right.” Sarah sighed and gave Nikolai a nod of agreement but it was obvious she was a bit worried. Nikolai started to pace back and forth, taking a peek at the anxious humans about to go into the club.
“Okay, so we don't want to get any of the humans hurt or let them see us splatter these guys all over the walls.” Nikolai said, formulating the beginning of the strategy. “First of all, we need to get those humans standing in line out of here. We don't need them getting mixed up in this or have the vamps take them hostage. So...” Nikolai stopped for a moment, but then got back on track with a snap of his fingers. “Well start a fire in front of the door. They'll run screaming to get out of there. They won't notice anything, right?” Sarah decided to take this moment to put some sense into him. “Wait, Nikolai you want to start a fire in there? First we have to get inside you know. Plus last time you tried to start a fire...”
Nikolai interrupted her again, trying to get his points across. “I know what happened. I'm not going to do it, you are, you can control that creation flame of yours pretty well and it probably won’t hurt anybody. And you're wrong about one thing, we don't have to be in there to start the fire. You just have to open up a warp gate there just long enough to light it up. Then you can make a another one in the center of the room and we'll work outwards, I’ll go all saber lion and rampage through the place and you all can do your thing. The entrance we'll be crowded we'll have the Creation Fire so they won't be able to get out, they'll be trapped in there with us. ”
“First of all, I don't think ti's a good idea to use your Animist form in a crowded nightclub. A few humans might have already gotten through and they could see you, or us for that matter. Plus they probably have some other ways out, like a fire exit or something.” Nikolai, however didn't lose any momentum just because his plan had a few holes. “NO problem, Ash you have the shadow power right? You can make pitch black in there, people will just think the lights shorted out because of the fire. I'll go through the warp gate in there and so will because he has to be in there for the blackout, and I can see in pitch black thanks to my Doujutsu. Dominic, you and Sarah can guard the back and side exits so the Vampires don't can get away and any human stragglers get out safe, all right?”

Dominic stared at him with a slacked jaw of disbelief.
Ash however was none to pleased and was blunt as a dull sword. " That's your plan. Dude that the most popular club in the city not to mention the alarms, how are we gonna execute the vamps with screaming civilians, cops and firemen all rushing to get in our way. Not to mention they take one peek as a white creation fire, lethal or no and they will suspect something."
Dominic punched Ash in the arm " Dude, it's his first gig, be nice. Lemme take a stab at this. Excuse me." The youth removed his sunglasses his eyes flashing a solar yellow. Under his sacred vision there was very little that hid from him.
" Ok, twenty humans inside, 4 outside the rest are vamps, they have the area locked under armed guard with, dammit cameras running. Digital too nothing that we can burn. So we have a problem and a solution. Virgil, scare em."
The young hunter nodded and walked off.
Moments later he appeared on the far roof top holding a rather freaky looking silver and gold modern hunting bow. He knelt pulling the line back as a crystal energy arrow sprang to life in the rest. He nodded and put a picture perfect shot clean into the head of one of the bouncers, he vaporized near instantly. Humans ran screaming, the alarms sounded in the club and the rest of the potential victims ran out.
The vampires rushed outside, sealed the doors with iron bars and plates then ran inside. The club turned into a bunker or a prison however one may think about it.
Dominic nodded as Virgil jumped from the roof landing with a slight thud as he walked over. Ash gave him a high five, Dominic smiled and the three turned to Nikolai.
" Lesson one. Know your prey. Vampires hate us to the point of paranoia. they see our powers in any way and they bunker down for a fight. Exploit that. Now we have a nice dark prison we can break into kick ass in peace and get out. Then we light the club up and make it look like a freak fire, the vamps will sand instantly so no bodies. Perfect cover.
So You two want the back or front doors?"
Ash folded his arms over his chest and looked at the club scouting the best assault point. he pulled a brick of explosives out of his jacket pocket, wired it and tested the timer.
" Breach charge, blows out doors and blinds should confuse em with a decoy on the entry we don't use."
" Well, shall we commit bloody murder?"

Nikolai opened his mouth, seeming like he was about to say something, but Sarah cut him off with hushing noise. “Me and Nikolai will go around back. Hope fully since are attacked was at the front it will be a little less defended.” Sarah turned on her heel as went around the corner, Nikolai following close behind. “What the hell is that fucker's problem,it could have worked.” Sarah tried her best to sooth Nikolai’s bruised ego to calm him down. Look Niko, It wouldn't have worked and besides, Ash is always like that. Don't let it get to you, he's nice a guy when you get to know him.”
Sarah stood by the entrance behind the club, waiting for the explosion from the charge Ash was going to set off. '5, 4, 3, 2, 1.' On cue, she could heard the distant explosion and the sound of door blowing it hinges, pieces flying this way and that. Simultaneously she pushed at thin air with her hands toward the door, activating her psychokinetic powers. It too flew it's hinges, crumpling inwards even as it flew out, striking a few Vampires standing guard there. Without even taking, she knelt down, blue lightning crackling where she touched. Then four metal disks, each twice as big as a chakram, launched out and cut down a number of the soulless. Nikolai jumped over her into the fray, reaching upwards at the ceiling. He felt the energy around him start to gather, the power of the place coalescing into a clear yellow war hammer in his hands.
Nikolai brought it down the head of the first vampire he saw with devastating results, collapsing the the unlucky enemies skull in and turning it into dust. As another one swung out at him it's diamond hard claws, He brought up his right arm as the war hammer morphed into a large, mid-evil kite shield that deflected the blow. The shield faded away and Nikolai grabbed the Vamp by it's neck and swung him over his head and on to the other side of floor with considerable force, shattering part of it. With his other hand, he reached for the powerful revolver in his pocket, bringing it out with ease, he shot two more approaching him. Unseen, a powerful vampire with the shadows, coming up behind the archon. As it's raised it's claws, a spurt of blood sprang from it's neck. Beside him, it could see Sarah holding out here long, it's steel stained with blood. With magnificent speed and accuracy she made quick thrusts into it's upper bodies, piercing numerous vital organs and watched as it collapsed into ashes before her eyes. “I wonder how Domonic and Ash are faring?”

Ash did not even breach, rather he ran at the barred window then activated his Aegis mask. a bone white faceplate sliding down over his features it was plain and hollow barring two deep blood designs along the cheeks that wove around his ruby eye shields forming a tangle of thorny vines.
His body slammed into the iron snapped them and drove him clean into the building like some freakish comic hero doing a daring entry. He rolled into a crouch and chuckled under his mask. the vampires went into a frenzy swarming around him. Ash slammed his arm,s together extending the bladed whips from his bracers. His hands flicked around snatching the elegant grips as he rose into a deadly spin of death. His attacks were crisp, each attack ended with a sonic snap of the whips bladed tip. He walked with a elegant dancers gait, his upper body moving in time with the angles his whips hit at. Limbs snapped and heads rolled in a very literal sense.
Dominic walked calmly in through the front door and sighed, shaking his head as the madness Ash was wallowing in. " Man, will he never learn to stay cool. Ah well no sense fighting any now."
" No? Why pray tell is that?"
Dominic glanced down as a shadowy wolf materialized by his side. it was only a few weeks ago he unlocked his first animal ironic he was a sonokinetic then wasn't it His face smiled as he shook it, no. The wolf bowed it's head and sat obediently.
The Young prince remained well back from the fight, Ash danced by in a gleeful laugh chasing two vampires who were running away screaming. Again the prince shook his head with a groan. His eyes darted left two running at a hunting lope. Nikolai.
Dominic walked slowly moving in a calm gait as he approached the two, inches before they were in lunging rage his hands flicked forward tossing two round bladed discs, chakram. the discs of death bounced off one another hit the walls and drove clean through the necks of his prey dusting them instantly. The Prince smiled, nodded a hello and turned to find Ash still chasing the two poor Vampires, he almost felt sorry. " Ash, kill em already." Dominic groaned.
Ash shot him a scowl and did so with a bit too much glee. They rallied with Nikolai, Ash shooting the rookie a evil grin. " Not bad for a noob." he said.
Dominic had about had it with that sort of comment. he wound back anjd drove Ash's skull into the pavement with a thud, he flipped him over and planted a boot on his chest glaring at him. " Ashley, these two have been through hell, this is their first real mission set, and they preformed as Chris expected, flawlessly. It's about time you showed the Princess and the Crown prince, like yourself, some due respect. Stop acting like an asshole and start acting like a field commander teaching them the proper methods."
Ash actually looked shocked, he nodded and grumbled as Dominic hauled him to his feet and continued his stare. There was no question who Dom's father was now. The guy was a gentle as a lamb but god help you if he gets pissed. The Prince took Sarahs hand helping her into the club and over some bodies. He patted Nikolai on the back nodding a proud approval of their response time.
" Ok, lets check the agenda. Lemme see." He scanned a small PDA device and stopped.
" Oh joy-joy. Looks like we have a Were encroachment as well tonight. sector five. lets move it team."
Dominic led the way to a seemingly abandoned apartment building, on first look it was run down, battered and unlikely to withstand a stiff wind. Dominic inhaled deeply and glanced around with calm gazes. " sabertooths, likely Sabuars. jaguars, not good. Excellent climbers and strong as hell. Looks like we have, oh, 5 floors, several dozen rooms and no daylight."
He turned around cars speeding by behind him on the streets, pedestrians walking calmly by ignoring them. " Ok, Sarah. Your turn now. What is our best plan of action?"

“Woo-whee, Nikolai whistled,, looking at the dilapidated structure in front of them. “I'm pretty sure there are pyramids younger then this piece of junk. Nikolai joked, stepping up towards the front of the ancient looking apartment complex. “You know I could get used to this kind of stuff. Now were dealing with a REAL challenge. I guess I'm going to have to show those these two-bit pussy cats what a real saber-tooth looks like.” As he said rather confidently, he began to laugh wholeheartedly, not noticing that behind him his sister was shaking her head at his fool-hardiness. “So what's the plan sis? I'm guess we can't just go up there, ring the doorbell, and wait fro them to come out, right? Can we burn the place down like last time?”
"Er, no Nico." She told him looking at the top of the apartment. "I think this calls for a more subtle approach then that. Fighting room to room in a five floor apartment complex is bad enough, I don't feel like adding fire into the mix." Sarah turned to Dominic and Ash, glancing sidelong sat the top of the building. Dominic, you can bust through this place pretty easily right? Well, the front door is out, they'll probably have a lot of guards. I was thinking we could bust through the roof and surprise them. I can make a torchlight so we can all see, but we should probably all stick together just in case. Sound good?”

Dominic pursed his lips a thin line smile crossing them. " Very good princess. Think we see who got Jason's brains. Lets get into action. Hold on everyone"
Dominic knelt down placi9ng his hand on the floor, he mumbled something and the ground distorted, seconds later they were on the roof which creaked and bent under their weight. Ash spread out, finding an access stair from the roof down. The door creaked open. " Ugh, spells like wet cat. I'm with Niko on this one, I say we just flash flame the whole damn building, cause if I get saber crap on my new boots" Dominic cut him off with a glare " You'll wash it off Ash. Lets go."
Ash grumbled and led the way with his own small torchlight, The team moved down a floor coming across nothing but shed fur and random bones. Ash snickered " Hey, Sarah, does Niko shed this much?" he hid a thin line of mocking under his words, it was barely hidden, hell a deaf person could have realized the barb enough to lip a fake laugh.
Dominic elbowed him in the chest, it clanged on his armor. " Ash, do shut up fore i tell everyone why we use "Ash" as your name instead of the one you were given."
The youth shot the crown prince a gaze, " You would not even dare. I swear I'd rip your.."
A low trembling grown echoed across the floor. Dominic winced, claws and padded feet lumbered around the creaking floors, wood bend and ached under weight. the common tone of the mood went from cheer to crap in a few moments. large overlong fangs gleaned in the silvery moonlight that arced through the boarded window pains, Dominic reached down to his hip and drew his customized side arm, a modified 45 with a longer barrel, the safety clicked off as his hands raised, eyes down the sights.
Virgil knelt at the rear, his odd crystalline bow forming from thin air, the cables barely made a noise as his hands drew the bowstring creating a arrow of energy sizzling tween the string and rest. " Not to be a boar hunter on a duck hunt here but I never could cotton to these types."
Ash winced at the county boys expression, " Man what the hell did you just say?"
Virgil eyed Ash and shrugged " City folk. Tch"
" Ok people focus now please. Sarah you stay with me, and stay close."
Dominic raised his hand, the area swirled with a fain sprinkling of sand that rotated around Dominic with a soothing motion, least one forget the simple fact that his geokinetic powers could allow him to harden those particles to small razor blades if he wanted. he got a small ego trip out of the face he could make happy sand castles then make em blow your face off.
Snarls echoed closer still, Virgil loosed his arrow with a heavy whoosh, the lance impacted sending a saber howling down the stairs. he reloaded and scanned for a secondary target. Ash grumbled and walked forward heading down a few stairs and turning left with a happy chuckle. " Found em!"
He cheered and hopped in through the door to a round of ear splitting howls roars and angry paw slashes. " Wooo! Bad kitty! Watch the paws! Ow damnit!"
Dominic grumbled as Ash put on a one man talk show spouting off random witty retorts, as blood slowly pooled from the doorway. More saber shadows poured into the room, and more witty retorts. Dominic looked at Niko and sighed. " Niko, do me a favor help him please before he fills this building up to our necks in damages and blood."
Sarah glanced at him curious, " Sarah apologies but they don't wanna cooperate, so lets you and me watch the exit and let Niko enjoy himself"

Nikolai cracked his knuckles, a smirk coming across his face. Walking purposely towards the stairs, he called back to Dominic. “With pleasure. You two sit tight, I'll take care of the action.” As soon as the word were issued from his mouth, the teenager's body began to change. His back hunched downward even as his legs and arms started to elongate. His grew bigger at his face, particular his nose and mouth stretched forward and became far wider, his eyes sharper, his hair growing out and around his neck. In fact, hair started to sprout from every conceivable place as his clothes and equipment disappeared from his body. In moments, Nikolai completed the transformation into a hulk saber-tooth lion, his gaping jaw showing his trademark giant fangs.
With a roar, Nikolai pounced form atop the staircase into the pack of saber-jaguars below, ready to tear, what could be considered, his distant cousins, to shreds. Landing atop one of he larger one's, Nikolai bit into it with his huge front teeth, tearing into the flesh of ti's neck before tossing it aside with a twist of his head, not bother to watch it's limp body slump to the floor. Emitting a challenging roar, the beast charged at two more of the jaguars. In turn, one of them try to jump atop of him, a similar move to what Nikolai had did earlier, while the other used it speed to flank him. In a unorthodox move for animist in his beast form. Nikolai sped on through, leaping forward at the mid-air jaguar and hitting it's chest with his head. Send it backwards and on to ti's back, Nikolai bit down on it's exposed underbelly, ripping out entrails before turning to face the remaining one up behind him. With a flick of his wrist he dove his claws fiercely into jaguar neck, quickly ending it's life. Smiling as bets eh could in this form, Nikolai sprang forward to carve out another peice of the enemy.

In the center of the damp apartment, a figure sat cross legged upon the creaky wooded floors. A tall man, he wore nothing but a black, from his hoodie to his jeans, almost blending in with the complete darkness.. But his most apparent feature was also the one that made him unrecognizable. From head to toe, everything but his mouth and his gleaming red eyes were covered in bandages, almost giving him the appearance of a mummy if he weren't were modern clothes. His were closed at the moment and his body completely still, the perfect picture of calm. The man liked how it was here., so soothing. People would not dare venture here, and even if they did, they met a untimely, very unfortunate demise at the hands of the buildings other guests. The sounds of the the bustling metropolis were dampened by the walls too much too reach his ears as long as he concentrated on blocking them out, and not even light could reach him here.
But not all was a quiet as his little corner of the city. He could feel the various aura's of great powers all gathering at this place, some shining like the sun, others as dark as the void above. The Solar lord and the Master of the fallen one's had amassed here, their massive energies flickering. Even in this very building, not too far from here could he fell familiar aura's and the blood of those who who now rule the world. A hint of seriousness flickered upon his once calm face. Standing up straight, the man began to speak to himself. “So it's true then.” he said as he pulled a loose strip of bandage, tightening it's grip on his right arm. “The end has really begun.” he opened his eyes and his mouth, flashing his vampirc teeth. Deactivating his powers of cloaking, CYpher reavled hismelf to the world. "Let's see how strong the hand of fate truely is."

Listening to the growls of the enemy and Nikolai's own challenging roars, Sarah winced as she moved closer to Dominic. Giggling, she managed as smile as she commented to him. “I;m not entirely sure if Nikolai's was the best choice for damage control. But, at least he's out of our here. So-- She hung at the word, a look of surprise forming. “Hey, wait a minute. Dominic...did you...did you feel that just now. Down there?”
