Hey there teamo.
Few things on my agenda this week. So lets get it started off with a issue that irks me beyond belief.
Primary among my notes this week is the Plot.
Yes, I know many of you are thinking it, "OK Trev's overdue for a screw up" Well, knock that off. Yes I am overdue but it's not happening. The plotline is evolving every day and the end result is a twist that even if you see coming, you'll have to soak it up for a few days wondering how In the name of god i managed to pull it off.
Current events in the RP are in fact not even milestones to the lead up, I have many more posts to make and a few more static characters to introduce. But I'll hint you and say the new Villain is not Chronos, He's like Marick, a vital hook to the true threat which you will not see coming. So your task is to enjoy and allow your characters to grow. If your holding back waiting for the plot to cave....forget it.
Second on my ever growing agenda, is the reformat of the forum layout, Namely the axing of some other threads and boards that see no use, and the clean up of major plot boards etc. mostly summer cleanups to make sure things are clean and up to date. I'll be updating the primary plot post, and the primary setting post - or axing it due to the complexity- as well as freshening up the system to be more user friendly and removing some of the arbitrary rules I had in place to open things up a bit more.
Frankly I'm not doing it for new members, thats not happening I'm simply opening the door for my current team to exercise some more creativity in creation of characters.
Third is god help us The economy.....Why did I even design the system.
So I'm going to go ahead and say " forget it", good idea, not enough members to implement. Meh no biggie IMO I had it in case i needed it and I didn't need it.
Fourth on the agenda is the ever lovely issue of our now famous No shows, Thos of us who despite looks come and then go. I've decided to idolize these folks with our newest feature, walls of Shame and Fame. Two new threads in our lounge to help us remember those who did a lot and those who were blow hard windbags who left for no apparent reason. Thor for the record I not among em. I hear from him sporadically, he's recovering from a round of operations and was running for public office, His hands are tied But he's welcome to enjoy a vacation.
In terms of the secondary issue to that, I seriously need to ask. is anybody even remotely spreading the word for us? I mean outside gleemax - I know Zap has a sig link- Surely we all belong to other forums of any kind? Watever just reminding everyone.
Next is the arrival of the Side story section, I'm finding it hard to encompass the full story in the posting section so I'm gonna fill in the blanks with short 5 or 6 post stories in this new section so every things more evened out.
It's mostly admin type stuff this month but Junes a crazy month for everyone so Likely it's going to even out very soon.
