A Forum created for the narratives necessary to our setting. Staff updates Prologues as necessary at the beginning of each plot arc to catch everyone up and Epilogues to end every arc. Staff and members often write side stories during downtime between arcs so this board can be used for further character enhancement through narratives.

Owned by the gatekeeper, a immortal who few know this Kingdom sits beyond even the Archons power to alter. The Gates are a realm with thousands of doors and gates leading to vast areas outside known space and time, some lead to new dimensions, some to alternate time streams, some show the end of all time itself. Fiercely defended and cut off from access only the royal family may ask entry into this realm, even then only to use the sacred tools and obtain new elixers to power their realms. Flowing along the entire underworld lies this plague filled river. Most mortals know the tales and the river does not disappoint. Colored green and red the water kills whoever touches it be they undead of demon, only the Imperial family may go near it without succumbing to the foul vapors or lurking dangers of Styx serpents. Though boatmen travel it and deliver merchants and souls to their own realm within the underworld anyone with a right mind stays far away unless necessary.
